Miguel helped my wife and I find an amazing property in Bay Park/Clairemont area. He was extremely timely, communicative and most important for us - available. We began our search all over San Diego, taking several months to narrow down our preferred neighborhoods. Miguel worked diligently with us throughout the process and remained patient. We viewed over 50 properties. During that time we found several we liked but we were outbid by cash buyers. In our highly competitive market Miguel offered insight, drawing from his background as a real estate appraiser. He provided detailed analysis on what indicators he felt made a case for an appropriate offering price, valuing our predetermined needs, goals and budget. He would call and assure us to not get frustrated by the competitive market. Not only did he remain patient with us in our search but was continually available. Frequently finding availability to have same day showings, or at the very least the following day. My husband and I were looking to purchase a detached single family house in the highly desirable 92103/92104/92116 areas. We were introduced to Miguel through our friend's recommendation, and we could not be any happier with selecting him as our realtor. Miguel was just on point with everything, and exceeded all of our expectations. He's very knowledgeable with these areas, extremely responsive with all of our communications, moved quickly with viewing and putting offers on a property, and even helped us to get a lower interest rate on our home loan. The housing market is extremely competitive in these areas right now, so even the not so perfect homes are going for top dollar. However, Miguel educated us to spot the difference between craftsman quality and a problem house. After ~2 months of house searching and putting down offers on six properties, we ended up with a beautiful well-built Spanish craftsman in North Park. The house is move-in ready, but we wanted to take down a wall that separated the dining and family room. For this work, Miguel recommended us contractors that he himself uses. And when we needed to find hardwood flooring that matches the existing flooring throughout the house, Miguel helped us to not only track down where the existing flooring was purchased (Rayo in Santee), but also drove all the way there himself to get us samples of closely matching options. He just goes above and beyond with everything. Hire him as your realtor - you will not be disappointed!

Miguel worked with my wife and I on a recent home purchase and I can say that we were thrilled with both the experience and the service that he provided. He was very knowledgeable in the areas we were focusing on (Kensington/Normal Heights/North Park/South Park) and always made himself available to us to answer any questions we had, day or night. The housing market is extremely hot right now and you have to move very quick, and it really helped us that Miguel was always on call and very responsive in dealing with any questions or responses. In fact, that’s one of the main reasons we got the house we did, we saw the listing when it went on line at a Wed. night and Miguel was able to secure a viewing appointment the next day, which helped us to get ahead of the rush of the open house on the weekend. I would definitely use him again for any future home purchases or listings!

Miguel is incredibly knowledgeable, especially in the metro area where we were looking, he is diligent, always available (even on vacation abroad!), and friendly. We were first time home buyers and fairly uncertain of what we wanted or if we were even ready to buy. To help us understand the market, Miguel walked us through a number of homes in a short time period that all had similar amenities and price ranges. It was hugely educational and helped solidify our preferences and understand what we were getting into. After we put in the offer, Miguel worked closely with us and the seller's agent to ensure we were understood and our concerns were addressed. He constantly went above and beyond - even personally checking a minor leak that was found during the inspection after a big rain to make sure it wasn't a problem. We bought a fixer upper in North Park through Miguel. He knew exactly what we needed and offered good, friendly advice we didn't know ourselves (what were big jobs / small jobs / good watch outs...). He was a great negotiator, so we were really pleased with how everything went, and recommended two friends to him, who are in the process of buying now. He even set us up with a really good handyman, who we're still using!
